Over a dozen artisan producers have come together to bring you Finger Lakes Cider Week. Please visit their web sites and seek out their stellar Finger Lakes ciders.
Our ciders are crafted entirely from our own fruit grown on Black Diamond Farm, a small family-owned orchard on the west slope of Cayuga Lake. Each of our ciders is a unique blend that expresses the diversity of flavor and aroma found in our apples. We grow over 100 varieties of apples, which include many heirloom and European cider varieties. We specialize in food-friendly dry and semi-dry ciders, and our ciders are all naturally gluten-free.
Natural cider and perry made in small batches with minimal manipulation using ambient yeast fermentation. We use fruit from our own orchards along with wild-crafted fruit. We also produce raw apple cider vinegar.
Old-school values, new-world sensibilities. Born in a barn, Blue Toad Cider honors the tradition and legacy of America’s first preferred beverage, crafting all-natural and eminently drinkable hard ciders, using locally grown apples from Schutt’s Apple Mill in Webster, New York. Currently, we’re producing two distinctive flagship flavors, ROC Hard Amber and Flower City Blonde, as well as rotating seasonal ciders. Old-school values, new-world sensibilities. Our cidery is focused on producing hard cider featuring cider apples grown on our fifth generation apple farm. Our ciders are all fermented slowly to bring out the true distinction each apple variety offers. In our orchards we have planted many American Heirloom, Crabapples, French, English, and Dutch Bittersweets and Bittersharps for our ciders.
Our mission is to accelerate the integration of New York State apple growers into the US hard cider renaissance and to promote good, true tree-to-table cider.
